A gym membership Dubai clubs advertise at AED 209 a month can cost you AED 479 on day one and AED 250 every month after. That is not a trick question or a worst case. It is what GymNation’s own checkout charges for its cheapest plan, and it is the single most useful thing to understand before you sign anything.
So we did the boring work. We worked out what a gym membership in Dubai actually costs at seven of the biggest clubs, reading their own published prices, terms, class lists and cancellation rules, and wrote down what they actually charge. Two of the seven will not tell you at all until you give them your phone number.
Below you will find what each one costs, where the real money hides, and the question that matters more than any price on this page: will you go?
Published gym membership Dubai prices in September 2026 run from AED 250 a month at GymNation up to AED 1,150 at CRANK, with Warehouse Gym at AED 252 on a year’s commitment and AED 363 month to month. Fitness First and FitnGlam publish nothing at all. Expect a joining fee, a minimum term of three to twelve months, and a cancellation rule that costs you a month if you miss its deadline.

Gym membership Dubai prices: what seven clubs actually charge
These are the seven clubs our coaches send people to, ordered by what you really pay rather than what the poster says. Every figure below came off the gym’s own website in September 2026, and where a gym does not publish a price we have written that instead of guessing. Nobody paid to be on this list.
| Gym | Monthly | Joining fee | Minimum term | Prices public |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| GymNation | AED 250 | AED 199 | 12 months | Yes |
| Warehouse Gym | AED 252 | None published | 3 months | Yes |
| Fitness First | Not published | Not published | Not published | No |
| FitnGlam | Not published | Not published | 6 or 12 months | No |
| 1Rebel | AED 575 | None published | None | Yes |
| Barry’s | AED 840 | None published | None published | Yes |
| CRANK | AED 1,150 | None published | None | Yes |
Two things in that table are worth pausing on. The cheapest advertised gym membership Dubai offers is not the cheapest one to actually hold, and two of the seven largest operators will not tell you what they charge until you hand over a phone number.

Budget, six Dubai branches
GymNation
Al Quoz, Bur Dubai, Downtown, Mirdif, Motor City and Silicon Oasis. Every branch is open 24 hours a day.
- Monthly
- AED 250Advertised as 209. Two add ons come pre ticked.
- Joining fee
- AED 199Plus AED 30 admin, shown only at checkout
- Minimum term
- 12 monthsSignature tier is 6
The cheapest real gym in Dubai, and the one we point people to when budget is the whole question. It is also the clearest case of the advertised price not being the price. The branch page says 209. Their own checkout says 479 today and 250 a month after, because a body scan at 20 and sports water at 21 come pre ticked.
- Open 24 hours
- 400+ classes included
- No pool, no sauna, no towels
Leaving early needs documents. They accept a tenancy agreement 30km away, a doctor letter, pregnancy or a stamped redundancy letter, and nothing else. Their own site still describes the chain as no contract.

Photo: Warehouse Gym

Mid range, twelve Dubai clubs
Warehouse Gym
DIFC at Gate Avenue Zone D and Business Bay at O14 Tower, plus ten more across Dubai.
- Monthly
- AED 252Light tier on 12 months. AED 363 month to month.
- Joining fee
- None publishedNo joining or admin fee appears anywhere
- Minimum term
- 3 monthsEven on the monthly plan
Our pick for the DIFC and Business Bay corridor, and the only chain here that shows every tier and every commitment length before you hand over a phone number. Price climbs with reach: Light is one club, Standard is seven, Premium is fifteen and adds the pool and sauna.
- All prices public
- Free parking at DIFC
- Pool at one branch only
Check the class list against your tier. Their FAQ promises unlimited CrossFit, while their checkout excludes CrossFit, HYROX and Reformer below the AED 734 tier. They also publish no opening hours and no membership terms, so the notice period is something you learn after committing to three months.

Photo: Fitness First

Mid range, sixteen Dubai clubs
Fitness First
DIFC at Gate Building 3, Bay Gate in Business Bay, Marina Gate and thirteen more. None are open 24 hours.
- Monthly
- Not publishedNo price anywhere on their site
- Joining fee
- Not publishedLate payment fee is AED 50
- Minimum term
- Not publishedA minimum term exists
The widest network in Dubai, and on this list for what it will not tell you. We checked every page of their membership funnel and found no price at all. The tiers are named and described, then every route ends at a form.
- No prices published
- Pools and saunas at some clubs
- Two hours free parking
What you get swings hard by club. Their membership page sells eight pools and infrared saunas, but the DIFC club has no pool and Marina Gate has neither, so check the club you would actually use. Cancelling is calendar locked: in writing to that club general manager before the 25th, or you pay another month.

Women only, four Dubai clubs
FitnGlam
Dubai Hills Mall, Al Quoz, Sports Society in Mirdif and Nad Al Sheba. Open 6am to 11pm on weekdays.
- Monthly
- Not publishedDay pass is AED 400
- Joining fee
- Not publishedAn admin fee exists, amount not given
- Minimum term
- 6 or 12 monthsPaid upfront, or monthly rolling
The strongest women only option in the city if a mixed floor is the thing stopping you, and the facilities back it up. Unlimited classes, two welcome sessions with a trainer, and sauna, steam and solarium included rather than sold as an upgrade.
- Women only, all clubs
- Classes, sauna and steam included
- Reformer and EMS cost extra
You cannot find the price without giving them your number, and their terms name six more charges without pricing any: admin, freeze, transfer, changing home club, cancellation and re billing. Two of their live pages also disagree about which tier includes Reformer Pilates, so get that in writing.

Boutique, one DIFC studio
1Rebel
ICD Brookfield Place, DIFC. The only 1Rebel in the country. Open 6am to 11pm on weekdays.
- Monthly
- AED 5755 sessions a month. Gym only unlimited is AED 590.
- Joining fee
- None publishedTabby splits it over 4 payments
- Minimum term
- NoneOne billing cycle notice to leave
The one here you can walk away from cleanly, which is worth real money if your calendar is unpredictable. No minimum commitment on any session pass, and the rate drops from 130 a session down to 85 if you buy 50. Shoes and towels are included, so you can come straight from the office with nothing.
- No minimum commitment
- Ride shoes and towels included
- Two hours parking validated
Unused monthly sessions do not roll over, cancelling inside 12 hours costs members AED 50, and a no show costs AED 75. There is also exactly one studio in the country, so if ICD Brookfield is not near you, every session is a DIFC commute.

Photo: Barry’s

Boutique, DIFC and Marina
Barry’s
Central Park Towers in DIFC and Trident Grand Mall in Dubai Marina. Marina runs 7am to 9:30pm on weekdays.
- Monthly
- AED 8408 classes in 30 days. Up to 1,860 for 30 classes.
- Joining fee
- None publishedFirst timer pack is AED 285 for 3
- Minimum term
- None publishedBut everything you buy expires
The best room in the city for anyone who needs the session to feel like an event rather than a chore. The class packs make more sense here than the memberships: a 10 pack is AED 1,155 and can be shared or transferred, which no membership on this page allows.
- Class packs can be shared
- Towels and products included
- Ladies only classes at DIFC
Nothing is refundable and everything expires. Packs die 6 months after purchase, a single class in 2 months, and no extension without a medical note. Add the 12 hour cancellation rule and one busy month on an AED 1,860 membership is money gone.

Photo: CRANK

Boutique, Al Quoz and Town Square
CRANK
Unit 43, Alserkal Avenue in Al Quoz, and Rawda Parkviews in Town Square. They publish no opening hours.
- Monthly
- AED 1,15012 sessions in 30 days. Packs work out cheaper.
- Joining fee
- None publishedFirst timer 3 pack is AED 230
- Minimum term
- NonePacks expire instead, 1 to 12 months
Buy the packs, not the membership, and this becomes one of the better value boutiques in the city. Forty sessions is AED 4,000, which works out at AED 100 each and beats every other studio on this page. Towels and Malin and Goetz products are included, and they run ladies only classes at both studios.
- Packs down to AED 100 a session
- Towels and toiletries included
- Some ladies only classes
Read the expiry rule before you buy. Nothing can be frozen, extended, transferred or refunded, and the clock starts the day you pay rather than the day you first show up. A late cancel inside 12 hours costs a full credit, and no shows do too. There is also no parking inside Alserkal, so you pay RTA and walk about 150 metres.
One that we left off on purpose: Gold’s Gym. It is no longer trading in Dubai, its UAE website now redirects to a casino affiliate page, and Gold’s Gym’s own franchise map lists the whole country as unclaimed territory. If you find it in an older list of Dubai gyms, that list has not been checked in a while.
What a gym membership in Dubai really costs
The monthly figure is the number gyms compete on, so it is the number they keep low. The cost sits in four other places, and all four are published if you go looking.
The joining fee. GymNation charges AED 199 to join plus AED 30 in admin, and their own FAQ mentions the fee without ever printing the amount. You see it at checkout. It is also, in their words, not refundable under any circumstances.
Add ons you did not choose. The gap between GymNation’s advertised 209 and its real 250 is two add ons, a body composition scan at AED 20 and sports water at AED 21, both ticked by default. Untick them and you pay what the poster said.
The minimum term. Warehouse Gym labels its cheapest option monthly, then adds three months commitment to it. GymNation runs 12 months on its two cheapest tiers. Fitness First confirms a minimum term exists without publishing its length.
Leaving. This is where the difference between clubs is largest. Fitness First wants your cancellation in writing to that specific club general manager before the 25th, or the next month is billed. FitnGlam wants one month’s notice at the front desk in writing, plus a one off cancellation fee. GymNation will only release you inside the term for a documented move, illness, pregnancy or redundancy. 1Rebel asks only for one billing cycle, and CRANK has no term to leave at all.
Freezing is its own small economy. GymNation allows three months a year at AED 50 each. Fitness First charges AED 47.5 a month and will not freeze a one month membership at all. FitnGlam blocks it in your first two months and wants seven working days notice. Barry’s freezes only with a doctor’s note, and CRANK does not freeze anything, ever.

If you fly out often, read that paragraph twice. A plan you cannot pause is a plan you pay for while you are in another country.
Why location beats price in DIFC or Business Bay
Here is the pattern we see over and over. The gym that gets used is the one you do not have to travel to.
Picture a normal Monday. You work in DIFC and meetings run to seven. Your gym is in Marina, 25 minutes away with no traffic and closer to 45 in the evening. By the time you park and change you have half an hour on the floor. You do that twice, feel guilty about the other 28 days, and let the card lapse in month three.
This is why the price ladder above is grouped by where the clubs are, not just what they charge. If your desk is in DIFC, Warehouse at Gate Avenue and 1Rebel at ICD Brookfield are both walkable, and Barry’s is a few minutes further at Central Park Towers. If you are in Business Bay, Warehouse at O14 Tower and Fitness First at Bay Gate are the two in the neighbourhood. GymNation is the cheapest in the city by a distance, but its nearest branch to that corridor is Downtown or Al Quoz, and that drive is the thing that decides whether AED 250 a month is good value or a donation.
Dubai adds its own twist. From June to September, the 20 minute walk that would be pleasant in London is not an option here, so a gym that is a short walk in December can become a drive in July.
An unused membership does nothing for your health
None of this matters if the card sits in your wallet. The best gym membership Dubai has to offer is worth nothing unused. What moves the needle is how often you train and how hard, not which logo is on the door.
The targets are not controversial and they are published. The Dubai Health Authority’s physical activity guideline sets out 150 to 300 minutes of moderate activity a week, or 75 to 150 minutes of harder work, plus strength training at least twice a week and less time sitting still. King’s College Hospital Dubai sets out the same figures for adults here, drawn from the WHO global recommendations.
Those numbers are worth holding next to the price ladder. Three to five sessions a week makes almost any plan on this page good value. One session a fortnight makes the cheapest plan here expensive.
Gym membership in Dubai, or a trainer who comes to you
This is the honest comparison, and we have a stake in it, so here are both sides plainly. A club gives you equipment, classes and anonymity for a few hundred dirhams a month. A personal trainer in Dubai who comes to your building costs more and buys you something different: a fixed time, a plan built for you, and somebody who notices when you skip.
| Factor | Club membership | Trainer comes to you |
|---|---|---|
| Commute | Drive or walk, then park | None, they come to you |
| Scheduling | Fixed hours, peak crowds | Built around your calendar |
| Programming | You design it | Written for you and adjusted |
| Privacy | Public floor | Your home or building gym |
| Typical cost | AED 250 to 840 a month | AED 4,500 for 12 sessions |
| Best for | Self starters near a good club | Packed weeks, frequent travel |
Our own pricing is packages rather than monthly. Twelve sessions is AED 4,500, and the full 12 week transformation programme is AED 12,000. We also run EMS training for people who want shorter sessions, and strength and conditioning coaching for those training for something specific.
Plenty of our clients do both. They keep a cheap club membership for the days they want to train alone, and book a coach for the sessions that need structure. That combination often costs less than a boutique membership and gets used more.
How to decide in five minutes
Be honest about your real patterns, not your intended ones. Look back at the last three months and count how many times you actually trained.
Take a gym membership in Dubai if there is a good club in your building or within a ten minute walk, you enjoy training alone, and your schedule holds steady week to week. On those conditions Warehouse or GymNation is excellent value.
Take a trainer if you travel often, if your evenings get eaten by work, or if you have started and stopped more than twice before. The commute and the crowd are what break consistency for most people with full calendars, and both disappear when the coach arrives at your door.
Take a class pack rather than either if you are not sure. Barry’s, 1Rebel and CRANK all sell packs with no commitment, and a month of those will tell you what you actually do far more reliably than a year of intentions.
Our take
If you want the cheapest honest answer, it is Warehouse Gym at AED 252 a month on a year, or GymNation at AED 250 if their branch is closer to you. If your weeks are unpredictable, buy a pack rather than a membership, because every monthly plan on this page bills you whether you turn up or not. And whatever you pick, check the cancellation clause before the joining fee. That is the one that catches people.
