Type best personal trainer Dubai into Google and you get a wall of names, every one of them certified, every one of them five stars, and almost none of them showing anything you could check. We got tired of that. So we picked ten services, asked six questions with answers you can verify on their own websites, and scored them. Us included, with the same sheet.
Say it plainly: this is our list, we run Train With Us, and we came first. That is exactly why the whole sheet is printed. Where a gym or a bigger team beats us, the card says so, and the last section tells you who to pick if we’re not the right fit.
Best personal trainer Dubai: how we scored the ten
We only used things you can check yourself on each company’s own pages. No secret shopper. No vibes. Six questions, each scored from 1 to 5, and the sheet is printed lower down.
- 25%Credentials you can verifyAre the coaches named, with the certifying body next to the name? REPs UAE, IFBB, NASM, or a Level 3 diploma from a named provider.
- 20%Proof of resultsNamed clients, before and after photos, and a Google rating shown on their own website.
- 15%Comes to youHome, building gym, villa or outdoors, across Dubai, with the equipment.
- 15%Nutrition includedIs a nutrition plan part of the package, and who writes it?
- 15%Prices publishedCan you see what it costs before you call?
- 10%Same coach, small teamWill the person you meet on the first call be the person who trains you?
The order is our verdict, not a sum. It’s what we’d tell a friend in Dubai who wants a real result in three months, a coach who turns up, and no games. The sheet is the evidence, and you’re free to weigh it your own way. We checked every website in September 2026. If a service changes something, or we got a fact wrong, tell us and we’ll update the entry.

Packages, not hours. 12 sessions are AED 4,500 with your nutrition plan, progress tracking and support between sessions included. The 12 week transformation is AED 12,000, everything in.

- Comes to you across Dubai, since 2017
- Client stories with photos, 5.0 on Google
- Package prices published, nutrition included
- One coach, start to finish

- Four of our six coaches don’t list a certifying body next to their name yet. Ask us and we’ll tell you.
- No gym of our own. Want machines and a sauna? See Embody, Ultimate Performance or Roar.
- Your nutrition plan is written by your coach, not a clinical dietitian.
- Small team on purpose. We take a limited number of clients at a time.

Embody Fitness
Best private gym, with the most honest coach page
- Type
- Private gym, DIFC
- Comes to you
- ✕No, gym only
- Nutrition
- ✓In-house nutritionists
- Prices on site
- ✓Yes, premium
- Certs shown
- ✓REPs L3 each
A private, members only gym at ICD Brookfield Place in DIFC, and our second pick overall. What earns the spot is the team page: more than fifteen coaches named, with REPs Level 3 and sports nutrition credentials against each name, plus in-house nutritionists and a recovery suite. In Dubai since 2017, more than 2,000 transformations by their count, prices published in the premium tier.
Where it scores
- Full named roster with REPs Level 3 and nutrition certificates
- Nutritionists and recovery on site
- Honest starting price and monthly cost
Where it loses points
- Every session is in DIFC. That commute is the plan killer if you don’t work nearby
- A premium spend, month after month
Best for: a serious body composition change in a fully staffed private gym, if DIFC is on your way.

Ultimate Performance
Best global brand gym transformation
- Type
- Private gym, DIFC and Marina
- Comes to you
- ✕No, gym only
- Nutrition
- ✓Coached in programme
- Prices on site
- ✕No, tailored
- Certs shown
- ✕No coaches named
The global name. Private gyms in DIFC and Dubai Marina, no memberships and no open floor, just private sessions with nutrition coached inside the programme. Their website shows a 4.9 Google rating from a large review base and a gallery of dated transformations. The first 30 minute meeting is free.
Where it scores
- A long track record and a large review base shown on their site
- Dated transformation case studies
- Nutrition coached inside the programme
Where it loses points
- Gym only
- Prices aren’t published. The site says everything, including the price, is tailored
- No Dubai coaches named online, so you can’t check who you’d train with
Best for: a dramatic in-gym transformation from a brand with a long track record, if you’re comfortable asking the price.
The best personal trainer in Dubai is the one you’re still training with in month six.

Where it loses points
- No client stories, ratings or years in business on the website

Where it scores
- Lowest published rates here
- Transport, equipment and nutrition included
- REPs UAE Level 3 and 4 stated
Where it loses points
- With a roster that size, the coach you get can vary
- Several pages timed out when we checked, and the pricing page carried template text

Best for: at-home training on a tighter budget, or anyone outside Dubai.

Hourly rates are published, and the first call is free.
Where it scores
- Nutrition coach and accountability coach in one package
- Comes to you, equipment brought
- Prices and a free first call published
Where it loses points
- Coach page shows names, not the certifying body
- In Dubai since 2025, by their own site

- Prices published
Where it loses points
- The most expensive service on this list
- The first meeting isn’t listed as free

Where it scores
- Free first session

Where it loses points

Where it scores
- Olympian founded, with a large transformation gallery

- Central Downtown address
Where it loses points

Each service was scored 1 to 5 on the six questions above, from its own website in September 2026. We scored ourselves with the same sheet. The ranking on this page is our verdict on top of these numbers. Any service that thinks a score is wrong can send us the correction and we’ll change it.
Which one fits you?
Start from the thing that has broken your plan before, not from the badge count.
- You want a coach at your door and results you can measure.Train With Us
- You want the food and the follow up handled for you at home.Athleaders
- You want the lowest price at home, or you live outside Dubai.DiFit
- You want a private gym with machines and recovery.Embody, Ultimate Performance or Roar
- You want to choose your own coach from a list.Fit Squad, or DubaiPT for freelancers
- You live in a hotel and want a full team.FitLabs
One test beats all six of ours. Picture yourself in week ten, on a Tuesday, tired. Which of these services would you still open the door for? That is the one to buy. Every card above is really about that question.
What to ask on the first call
Five questions. A good service has answered all of them a hundred times and won’t flinch.
- Which coach will I get, and which certificate do they hold? Ask for the body, not just the word certified. Then check the REPs UAE register.
- Who writes my nutrition plan? A coach, a nutritionist, or a PDF template.
- Who chases me between sessions, and how? A message on Thursday, a plan for your solo days, or nothing until the next booking.
- What gets measured, and when do we look at it together? Photos, the tape, strength numbers, or a vibe.
- What does it cost, in full, for three months? Get the number before the sales pitch. We wrote a guide to personal trainer cost in Dubai if you want the ranges first.
If any of those gets a vague answer, that tells you something. We also put together six honest checks for choosing a personal trainer if you want to go deeper.
About this list: the facts about other services were taken from their own websites in September 2026 and may have changed since. Logos and website images belong to their owners and appear here to identify each service; Train With Us is not affiliated with, endorsed by or paid by any of them, and no service can buy a place on this page. Scores are our opinion, formed from public information. If you represent a service listed here and want a correction, email [email protected] and we will review it.
Best personal trainer Dubai: your questions answered
What does personal training cost in Dubai?
Serious services price by the package, not the hour. Ours starts at AED 4,500 for 12 sessions with the nutrition plan included, and the 12 week transformation is AED 12,000 all in. Marketplaces and the big budget teams sit below that. Private gyms and hotel teams sit well above it. Our cost guide lays out the ranges.
Should I train at home or in a gym?
Ask what killed your last attempt. If it was the drive, the heat or feeling watched, a coach at your door fixes all three, and that’s most people. If you love a loaded barbell, a sauna and a busy floor, join a gym and pick a coach there. Our guide to training at home shows what a normal week looks like.
Which certificates actually matter?
Start with REPs UAE registration, which is the register the Dubai authorities recognise, and behind it a real qualification such as a Level 3 diploma, IFBB or NASM. Then match the specialism to your goal: pre and post natal, strength and conditioning, or rehab. The word certified on its own means nothing until someone tells you who certified them.
How often do I need to train?
Two coached sessions a week changes a body if you walk on the other days. Three changes it faster, which is why our 12 week transformation runs three. One a week keeps you where you are, which is fine if that’s the goal.
Is food part of the package?
With us, always. Your coach writes the plan around your week, your cooking and your restaurant habits, and adjusts it as you go. Athleaders adds a nutrition coach, Embody has nutritionists in the building, and with a freelancer it depends on the freelancer. Ask before you pay.
I want a female coach. Who should I look at?
Five of our coaches are women: Elena, Maria, Sogol, Jovana and Dunja, between them covering fat loss, strength, and pregnancy and postnatal work, all at your home. Our female personal trainer in Dubai page introduces them. Most teams on this list can supply a female trainer on request.
When will I notice something?
Your numbers move first, usually inside three weeks. Your clothes tend to notice around week six. A photo you’d actually post takes about twelve weeks of turning up and eating like an adult. Anyone promising it faster is selling the promise.
My apartment has no gym. Is that a problem?
No. Our coaches arrive with what the session needs and build the programme around the space you have, a living room included. Athleaders, DiFit and Fit Squad carry kit too. A freelancer may or may not, so ask.
Is it worth the money?
If a year of doing it alone left you where you started, yes. The exercises were never the hard part. You’re paying for a person who shows up, changes the plan when your body changes, and makes skipping more awkward than training. We’ve written more on whether a coach is worth it.
